The whole vampires integrating with human society is very clever with true blood. The second series seems to be exploring the existance of other vampire clans further which sounds be good!
treasure trooper’s got it right.
it’s all the small details that gets me high on this show; the tru-blood with different kinds of blood type, the travelling coffins for when vampires need to travel, the vampire spokesperson, etc.
it’s like the fact that vampires have come forth in society is just a sub-theme and the drama and intrigues are still the primary thing – Alan Ball really made an effort to make it all seem very believable and realistic.

- Is the ” maker ” of Godrick, better said: has the writer ever wrote somehing about the maker of Godrick?
I mean, every vampire has one,.. and the King and Queens around, are they all older then godrick?
I personally thought that Godrick was the badass vampire of all of them, but he just didn’t get a lot of screentime ( with the series ) and don’t know of his maker is allready been brought up in the latest books ? ? ?

Bomba S… no I have never read about Godrick’s maker as a matter of fact…. in the book #2 Godrick is not the same vampire as in the series… it is very different…

I read nearly all the books of the SOOKIE story and just could not stop reading. The serie is relatively faithful to the main storyline but book and moovie : not the same ? In the books SOOKIE is much more feminine and serious while the story progresses. What we find in both serie-book is the sens of humour….

i read the books and loved them. even though the tv series has taken a lot of liberties on the plot line, i still love it. can’t wait for the episode to be on!

LOVE IT!
I think this is one of my favorite episodes. I like the connection between Eric and Godric, it’s so loving and caring. My favorite part of this episode is when Eric is talking to Godric and he starts to cry because he doesn’t want him to die. That part was so sad yet filled with love. The more Eric shows his emotions the more interesting he becomes to Sookie. I can’t wait to see if this brings Sookie and Eric closer.
